Cruzando Océanos is the debut CD of Ensemble d'Atlántico.
The two sides of the Atlantic seem in our times closer than ever. Our music has always been so. Iberian and Latin American music are linked not only by language but also by style, Arabian-influenced harmony and dance rhythm.
The first edition of our new singing master class will be held from 17th to 19th October 2025 in the delightful setting of the Salons Quatre Mains in the centre of Flanders' most beautiful city Ghent (at least that's what we think!). Lessons from our three teachers (Joris Derder, baritone, Anna Pardo Canedo, soprano, and Andrew Wise, pianist & coach) will be combined with recitals by our teachers. The master class has a double theme: British Romantic Song will be coached by Joris Derder while Anna Pardo Canedo will concentrate on Spanish repertoire. Of course we will also pay attention to all aspects of singing and performance technique. The masterclass is open to advanced amateurs, students at the upper levels of the Belgian music schools, conservatoire students and young professionals.
